Born February 9, 1944, in Jodhpur, India, he was a son of the late Shiv S. and Basanti Panwar. Panwar came to Williamson to practice medicine in 1994. He immediately became a beloved member of the Williamson medical community and the greater Tug Valley community. He devoted himself to his chosen field of obstetrics and gynecology. He was deeply respected by his colleagues and the staffs of both Williamson Memorial Hospital and the Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was deeply loved by his office staff and his patients.
