pMICHAEL "BUTCH" PRINCE HARRIS AND ANNE DEBAILLON HARRIS A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Michael "Butch" Prince Harris, 60, and Anne Debaillon Harris, 54, who passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 in the Air France Flight 477 disaster. Reverend Monsignor Keith J. DeRouen, Rector of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, will officiate the service. Mr. Harris was born in Greenville, SC and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1967 and Clemson University with a degree in Geology in 1972. He worked for Devon Energy International, Inc. and was stationed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mrs. Harris was born in Lafayette, LA, attended Lafayette High School and graduated from the Louisiana State University with a BS in Physical Therapy. She was a Physical Therapist in Lafayette before moving to Houston and then Brazil. Mr. Harris is survived by his son, B.S. Hampton Harris, IV, his sister, Barbara Harris Sorkin, his nieces, Leigh Allison, Charlstie Laytin and Casey Laytin and his aunt, Stella Wall. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Harris, his father, B.S.H. Harris, Jr. and his brother, B.S.H. Harris, III. Mrs. Harris is survived by her son Andrew Musgrove, her father, Charles Debaillon, Jr., her five siblings, Charles Debaillon, III, Mary Miley, Daniel Debaillon, Paul Debaillon and Patricia Foss and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Debaillon and her sister, Simonne Calhoun. Mr. and Mrs. Harris were a most beautiful and loving couple, very outgoing and best friends. They were caring, brilliant, and had a great sense of humor that cheered everyone they met. Mr. and Mrs. Harris were very close to their entire family and their large circle of friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fibromyalgia Association of Houston (FMAH), PO Box 541742, Houston, TX 77254.
