Fredric Sheldon Brandt, MD, was an American physician, researcher, lecturer, author, and radio host specializing in cosmetic dermatology. Among the first to use botulinum toxin (botox) and fillers,[1] Brandt was noted for his role[2] in the FDA approval of numerous fillers and botulinum toxins for cosmetic use in the United States.
Brandt, who hosted a radio show called Ask Dr. Brandt on SiriusXM radio and whose celebrity patients included Madonna, was called the "Baron of Botox" by W magazine[3] and "King of Collagen"[2] for using more botox and collagen than any other dermatologist in the world.[4]

Education:He graduated from Rutgers University in 1971-He obtained his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College.
His residencies were at New York University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center - He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami.
In 1982, Brandt opened his dermatology practice in Coral Gables. He opened up a practice in New York City in 1998.
Memorials were held in Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center in NYC and Miami.
Fredric Brandt MD Memorial Scholarship in Aspen, CO- The scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving resident or fellow and will provide complimentary registration, accommodations and travel to the Summer Cosmetic Bootcamp Meeting.
