ESTHER WATTS
DELBARTON, W.Va. â Esther Watts, 95, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 11, 2016. It was a life well lived. She was born at Yuma, W.Va., to Ollie and Plato Kitchen and raised in Logan. On March 30, 1940, she met and married Clyde Watts.
Esther and Clyde had an entrepreneurial spirit and started several businesses in Delbarton, including a radio repair shop, music store, 5&10 type store and finally the Watts Cable TV business. Esther worked with Clyde in each of these businesses as the office manager and bookkeeper.
Esther is survived by her daughters: Donetta Watts Holland of Homosassa, Fla., and Joyce Watts Sewell of Montgomery, Texas; grandsons: Jerry Holland of Chester, N.J., Greg Holland of Joppa, Md., Bryan Sewell of Flower Mound, Texas, and Dan Sewell of Sparks, Nev.; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughter.
Her husband, Clyde Watts, predeceased her.
