RAWL, Mingo County, West Virginia ~ÃÂ Christopher Bryan Milam Jr., age 18, of Rawl, Mingo County, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Boone County, West Virginia.
Born December 24, 1997, in Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia, he was a son of Carrie Prater Torres of Lacy, Washington, and the late Christopher Bryan Binky Milam Sr.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather who reared him, Jimmie Milam.
Chris is a 2016 graduate of the Ambassador Christian Academy and a member of Regional Church of God at Delbarton, Mingo County, West Virginia.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his loving grandmother who reared him, Margaret Milam of Rawl, West Virginia; his girlfriend, Carlie Bryant of Madison, West Virginia; maternal grandmother, Lassie Prater of Rawl, West Virginia; maternal grandfather, Allen (Vanessa) Prater of Varney, West Virginia; loving paternal great-grandmother, Patricia Lawson of Dayton, Ohio; two half brothers, Joseph and Allen Torres of Lacy, West Virginia; great uncle, Bob Mabe of Dayton, Ohio; cousins who were like brothers, Shane and Wesley Milam of Rawl, West Virginia, and a host of other family, friends, and his ACA family.
Funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Hatfield Funeral Chapel of Toler, Pike County, Kentucky. Brother Danny Lucas will officiate.
Interment will follow at Rawl Community Cemetery, Rawl, Mingo County, West Virginia.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday evening the funeral home.
