Dranko of Jefferson Hills and the late Murray G. Black; survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Friends received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Wed., May 1, 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Thurs., May 2, 9-10:15 am. Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Brownsville Rd. on Thurs. at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, Contributions to Zion Lutheran Memorial Fund, Rt51 & Brownsville Rd., Pgh., PA 15236.

June L. (Black) Dranko, 73, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at her home in Jefferson Hills. She was born Oct. 7, 1934, in Pleasant Hills, daughter of the late Daniel B. and Amanda (Nies) Black. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Murray Black. June is survived by her husband of 53 years, John L. Dranko; two daughters, Kim (Kevin) Schmidt, of Verona, Ky., and Shelly (Jim) Phillips, of Acworth, Ga.; one son, Brad (Karen) Dranko, of Center Township; five grandchildren, Kerri, Kiersten and Kallen Schmidt and Sharon and Brad Dranko; and one brother, Daniel "Bud" (Norma Jean) Black, of Vero Beach, Fla. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the STEPHEN D. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, 1701 State Route 51 (Large), Jefferson Hills. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church, Brentwood, with the Rev. Eric Riesen officiating. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Zion Lutheran Church, Route 51 and Brownsville Roads, Brentwood, Pittsburgh, PA RELATED OBITUARIES AND MEMORIALS
