Obituary

ROBBINS, Jacob Hyman (Dr. Jack) Robbins, Jacob Hyman (Dr. Jack) 92, born in Detroit, MI, was the sixth of eight siblings, the first born in the United States after his parents, Bernard and Anna, immigrated from Russia. He met beautiful Annie Eisenstein while attending medical school in Dallas. They were married for 63 years, until Anne passed away in 2010. A dedicated physician for over 50 years, avid golfer and consummate joke teller, his memory will be cherished by people from every phase of his life. Survived by brother Richard, children Shel Kasmir, Joan Ford (Charles), Scott Robbins (Lisa Lipkin); grandchildren Darren Kasmir (Danielle Geoffrion), Justin Kasmir, Genna Ford, Jessica Waldron (Jonathan), Daniel Robbins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Services will be held at Temple Emanu-El, Tuesday 11 am interment immediately following at Sparkman-Hillcrest.
