Arthur E. Levy, M.D., of Hilton Head Plantation died September 22, 2016. He was born August 10, 1922 in New York City and was the son of the late Florence Dadswell Levy and Edgar Levy. He moved to Hilton Head permanently in 1981 from Williamson, West Virginia. Dr. Levy practiced radiology since 1946. He was a member of the AMA, West Virginia State Medical Society, The Radiological Society of North America and was a Fellow of American College of Radiology, as well as a Kiwanian and a member of The First Presbyterian Church, a past Elder and Deacon. He also volunteered at Volunteers in Medicine. He served in the United States Army from 1942 through 1956, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is survived by his wife Fannie; sons Wayne (Avonda) Levy, Keith (Jane) Jude and John Levy; daughter Leslie Lewis; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by sons Bruce and Gary. By request of the deceased there is to be no funeral or memorial service. No flowers please.
