Son of Robert M. and Cora Lee Cox Reams Spouse of Matewan Grade School Teacher Geraldine Blankenship Reams.

Prominent Matewan WV businessman. He came to the area with his brother Edwin L. Reams before 1920. The two had been involved in the Feed and Hardware business over the years.

At the time of his death he was the owner of Chambers Funeral Home in Hatfield Bottom.
