Ryan Napoleon Ruffin; the fifth of nine children from the late Monica Lee Ruffin and Charles “Doll” Keith was born on March 7, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio. He departed this earthly life on Friday December 12, 2014. Ryan graduated from Taft High School class of 1975. He then united in marriage with the late Lena Ruffin in 1981 and from this union he was blessed with the first of six children, Ryan Ruffin. He later was blessed with five beautiful daughters Stacey Renfro, Teresa Brown, Shonetta Ruffin, Rynetta Ruffin and Candace Crawford. He was a loving husband and father to his children. Ryan really enjoyed cooking. He graduated from Cincinnati State Technical College with an Associate in Chef Technologies. He was a lead chef at Generations at Lowry and Aurora Medical Center in Colorado; he also worked at Venice Pizza Restaurant and Catering, a non-profit agency where he trained a diverse population from felons to students with developmental challenges. He also worked for Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority for many years. He leaves behind, his father Charles “Doll” Keith, his children Ryan, Stacey (Phillip), Teresa (Stefan), Shonetta, Rynetta, Candace, and step son Zachary; brothers and sisters Nina Ruffin-Jackson (Fredy), Robin Franklin, Adrienne “Sissy” Stokes, Anthony “Tony” Ruffin, Herman Morrison-Ruffin and a host of other paternal brothers and sisters; grandchildren Shyeem and Jerimiah Williams, Calvin Long, Derrick Brown Jr., Mercedes Rainey, Stefan Walker Jr. and Josiah Dailey and a host of nieces and nephews. His mother Monica Ruffin, wife Lena Ruffin, brothers Glenn Ruffin & Ralph Ruffin and sister Norweida Morrison preceded him in death.
