Margie Leann Cisco Simpkins, 85, of Williamson, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Williamson Memorial Hospital. She was born March 1, 1929, at Beech Creek, W.Va., the daughter of the late Leonard and Ida Jean Cisco. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Simpkins Jr., who passed away September 13, 2011; her only daughter Brenda Wolford; brothers, Clyde, Curby, Carlton, Clellis and Clinton Cisco and sisters, Victoria Cisco and Ada Kinder. Margie was a homemaker and a member of the Little Rosie Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lori Carter of Glasgow, Ky., and Gary Steven Wolford of Dry Ridge, Ky.; sisters, Inas Evans and Orphia Curry, both of Williamson; brothers, Charles Cisco of Williamson, and Cedric Cisco of Sax, Va.; nine great-grandchildren; her caregivers, Beth Scott, Lillian Brumfield, Sherry Griffith and Davina Baisden and host of loving family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday April 2, 2014, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, with Wayne Herald, Tom Dials, Hobart Hamilton and Albert Cable officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, W.Va., with Timmy Robinson, David Staton, Harvey White, Steve White, Alonzo White and George Evans serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, at the Funeral Home, with special services Tuesday night at 7 p.m., with Richard Staton, Arthur May, Elbert Sesco and Timmy Robinson officiating.
