RESSIE PARSLEY



Ressie Parsley, age 89, of Williamson, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday,; February 24, 2016, at her home following a lingering illness. Born January 1, 1927, at White Post, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Orison and Josie Horn Runyon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Brad Parsley; and her siblings: Myrtle, Conard, Vicie, George, Hobert, Ballard, Lorene, Ruby, and Sarah.

She was a homemaker and attended the Nolan Church of God Acts 20:28.

Survivors include five daughters: Diana (Ira) Etters of Hatfield, Ky., Shelby (Bo) Stanley of Borderland, W.Va., Kathy Lynn (Gary "Bo") Starr of Varney, W.Va., and Anita Jo Parsley and Lorraine Parsley, both of Williamson; one son, Allen Bradley (Alison) Parsley of Inez, Ky., and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, February 27, at Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eugene Preece officiating. Burial will follow in Marcum Cemetery at Hatfield with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
