Born June 17, 1944, in Williamson, she was a daughter of the late Albert Baa and Martha Bono Venturino.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Larry Tackett.

Rose was a homemaker and she was very active in church, civic and social activities in her community.

She was an active member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Williamson. Rose enjoyed traveling and driving her Chrysler convertible anywhere and everywhere. She was a wonderful cook and one of her favorite dishes to prepare was spaghetti. She was always looking for her next pair of shoes and shopping was one of her favorite pastimes.

Rose’s life was filed with activities of one form or another, but it was her family that she lived for. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin to a large and energetic family. She looked forward to holidays and the family celebrations they brought. Rose was deeply loved and cherished by her children, grandchildren and extended family.

The memory of Rose’s effervescent personality, her hugs, smiles, words of encouragement, laughter and her zest for life is forever sealed in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be sorely missed and always remembered with great affection.

Rose is survived by three beloved daughters, Tammy (Robert Watkins) Dotson of Martin County, KY, Susan (James Robert) Hensley of Williamson and Sherri (Frederick Kevin) Murphy of Belfry, KY; four grandchildren, Nikita Dotson, William Bruce Bill Dotson, Faith Elizabeth Hensley and Nathaniel Chase Murphy; two great grandchildren, Axel Hatfield and Elizabeth Rowan Hunt; a sister, Dina (Lester Newsome) Venturino, Kermit; two brothers, James Steven Honey (Penny) Venturino, Williamson and Gary Thomas (Amber) Venturino, Stone, KY; an uncle, Robert Bono, Williamson; her devoted friend of more than forty years, Margaret Conner of Williamson; a very special friend and daughter of the heart, Ale Segoria of Happy Valley, KY; a host of special children whom she thought of as her grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends whom she enjoyed spending time with.
