Be kind, because everyone you meet is fighting a great battle. Ian Maclaren

David Paul Malinak

David Paul Malinak, aged 22, has passed from this world as of June 16, 2015.

Born in Spokane, Washington, on May 14, 1993, David has lived and loved in the area for his entire life.

David was a man of many passions, and to sum up his life in brief is a challenge.

Science was perhaps one of his greatest passions, and he was in his culminating term at Eastern Washington University in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Biology.

He excelled in every class and in every subject and was well-loved by his professors and peers alike.

His brilliant mind paired perfectly with his sparkling wit and charm, and David never met a person he could not bring joy to.

His love of humor and perfectly-timed jokes and quips will continue to bring laughter into this world through the memories of his family and friends, who will never stop loving him.

Besides being a curve-setter in classes, and a charmer in person, David had an incredible work ethic: he always maintained a true sense of responsibility, and took great pride in everything he did, and he is so loved and deeply missed by his coworkers at the university bookstore.

David was also an accomplished actor and a very talented singer.

He had a great love of adventure and the outdoors.

David was compassionate and cared so much for others.

His moral compass always stayed true, and to the very end he stood up for what was right, always protecting his friends.

There are no words to describe the loss of this wonderful man, to describe the void that his death has left, nor even to describe the love that his family and friends bear for him still.

David Paul is survived by his mother, CJ Lambert, his father, Clay Malinak, his brother, Conrad Malinak, and his sister, Sarah Malinak.

He is also survived by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

They are all deeply saddened and can only praise God for giving them the gift of David for 22 special years.

A service will be held for David Paul Malinak on July 10, 2015, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of the Hennessey Funeral Home and Crematory located at 1315 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, 99206.

A reception will follow.

The family asks that guests come ready to celebrate the life of their wonderful David. ________________________________________
