Martha (Susie)Marincil Weijers

Martha (Susie) Marincil Weijers, 52, a six-year resident of Henderson Nev., formerly of South Williamson, Ky., went to be with her Lord on June 12, 2013.

Born October 10, 1960, to the late Brushy and Margaret Marincil, she was also preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents John and Mabel Miller, Paternal Grandparents Bob and Lizzie Marincil.

She is survived by her husband, Gerardus “Ge” Weijers of 16 years. Also leaving to cherish her memory and her sweet smile, a sister Tammie (Mike) Ward of Lavalette WV, a brother Bobby (Donna) Marincil of Rawl, she had four nieces Michelle (Chris) Adkins, Renee Ward, Cassidy and Ashley Marincil, one nephew Zachary Marincil. Three great nephews Tanner and Griffin Eldridge and Zander Blankenship. One great neice Devyn Adkins. A very special friend Nancy Fetsko. And a host of family and friends.

Susie was a graduate of Belfry High School class of 78. She also was a graduate of Marshall University. She was an accomplished artist having studied under the direction of Joan Carr. One of her last paintings was of the Red Robin on the Stone Heritage building. She also was a Graphic Artist. She was very active in her church, Christ the Servant Lutheran. She was a Stephen Minister.

A celebration service will be held at McVeigh Baptist Church on July 6, 2013 at 12 p.m. Eva (Tootsie) Angel and James Justice will begin the celebration of her life. We are celebrating her life and ask that everyone wear something colorful, Susie loved colorful things. Her remains will be laid to rest with her beloved Mom and Pap at Huddy, Ky., following the celebration. In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
