Marion Christopher Barry was an American construction company owner who was most widely known for being the troubled son of Marion Barry, the two-time Mayor of the District of Columbia and long-term city councilman. Better known for most of his life as Christopher Barry, after the death of his father he was an unsuccessful candidate for his father's Ward 8 council seat in 2015. On Monday, Barry will lie in repose from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Temple of Praise at 700 Southern Ave. SE. A public funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.
