Ethel Chapman Cochran, 90 of Huddy, Ky., passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Pikeville Medical Center.

Born August 28, 1926, at Chattaroy, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Willa Sue Chapman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cochran, and several brothers and sisters.

Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the McAndrews Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters: Sandra Elaine (John) Combs of Lexington, Ky., Brenda Carol Ritz of Pikeville, Ky., and Jennifer Joann Cochran of Lexington, Ky.; two sons, Charles Steven (Marian Sissy Ball) Cochran of (formerly of Williamson, WV) Huntington, W.Va., and Christopher Brian (Ashley) Cochran of Stone, Ky.; two sisters: Patty of Pennsylvania and Betty Jo Crum of Nolan, W.Va.; one brother, Millard Scott of Williamson, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, October 18, at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with David Parsley officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral at noon.
