ACKERMAN ENDICOTT
Medical Student
Resident of Washington, DC

SAMUEL ACKERMAN
On Monday, June 6, 2016, the Ackerman and Dixon families lost our beloved Endicott to the waves of Bondi Beach. He was 20 years old, full of life, ready to get everything from the world and contribute everything to the world, that he could.

He was taken away from us much too early and we will never forget him. Endicott Samuel Ackerman was a student and four-year football player for the Robinson Rams of Fairfax, Virginia. He was an avid reader, who loved the beach, walking around shirtless and having fun. He was the beloved son to his parents, Samuel and Elizabeth of Clifton, Virginia; brother to Hannah, Holden and Simon and a friend to many on three continents. He was brash and confident in many ways, but his mind was always open to new ideas (which, if he liked them, he would cheerfully claim as his own). A pre-med student at the University of Sydney, in Australia, his plan was to go to medical school in a different country, and start his practice in yet another-always traveling, and constantly learning. Endi was an amazing person, larger than life. He loved the TV show Archer and Disneys Aristocats. He loved laughter and a serious discussion of any big idea. He loved his family, his cabin in West Virginia, and his dog, Ozzie. He loved friends he could compete with, and he loved coaching younger children in flag football. He believed there was nothing he could not do, and the people who loved him felt the same. He is survived by his immediate family of five, two grandparents, dozens of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. We will always cherish the memories we have of him, and never stop mourning the things he never got the chance to do.

Visitation will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032 on Saturday, November 26 at 1 p.m, with Memorial service at 2 p.m.

Those wishing to honor Endis memory may do so by donating to Friends of Homeless Animals; Ironwood Pig Sanctuary; Robinson Rams Football Boosters or Echo Hill Camp, in Endis name. Goodbye, our love.Goodbye, our love.
