Private funeral services were held for Stephen A. Tucker D.M.D, 44 of Monongahela who died Saturday, June 20, 2009. Born December 10, 1964 in Monongahela, he is the son of Jean (Turri) Tucker of Charleroi and the late Charles J. Tucker D.D.S.. For the past fifteen years Stephen worked as an Oral Surgeon for the Davidson-Tucker Oral Surgeons, at offices in Charleroi and Uniontown. After graduating from the former Mon-Valley Catholic High School in 1982 he then went onto graduate from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1989 followed by a four year internship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Steve was a member of the Mary Mother of the Church, a member of the Oral Surgery Society and the Youghigany Country Club were he enjoyed golfing with many of his friends. Surviving are his wife Cheryl J. (Taylor) Tucker with whom he married May 25, 1996, two brothers Dr. Charles and wife Alison Tucker of Belle Vernon and Dr. Peter Tucker of Harrisburg, three sisters Dr. Jeanianne and husband Joseph Sedlack of Philadelphia, Mary Lynn and husband Glen Clark of Singapore, and Christine Tucker and husband Michael Jarzynka of Pittsburgh, his father-in-law, William F.Taylor of Swartz Creek, Mich, fifteen nieces and nephews and family and friends. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law N. Suzanne Taylor who died February 13, 2008. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in the Mary Mother of the Church, Charleroi. Interment was held in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Steve's name to the Charleroi Food Pantry, 828 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. The Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess St., Monongahela (724-258-6767) was in charge of the arrangments.

TUCKER, Cheryl Janice (Taylor), age 48, of Swartz Creek, went to be with her Lord, Friday, October 14, 2011 at her residence. Funeral Services will be Monday, October 17, 2011 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Kevin Harbin officiating. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Monday at Church until time of service. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be Saturday 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00-800 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Food Bank of Genesee County in care of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Cheryl was born September 25, 1963 in Flint the daughter of William and Suzanne (Sheerin) Taylor. She married Dr. Stephen Tucker on May 25, 1996 in Birmingham, Michigan and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2009. She was a 1981 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. Cheryl was employed as a Physical Therapy Assistant and was also a Pilates Instructor. She was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are her father, William Taylor of Swartz Creek; two sisters, Dawn (Craig) Golden of Swartz Creek, Paula (Alan) Stefanko of Davison; two brothers, Bradley (Catherine) Taylor of Brighton and Jeffrey Taylor of Swartz Creek; 15 nieces and nephews who she loved so very much; all the Tucker Family of Charleroi, PA and many close friends.
